Reporting on a European study tour of recently completed buildings that incorporate Environmentally Sustainable Design.
The study concludes that; (a) the aesthetics of environmentally sustainable designed (ESD) buildings are an important consideration that should not be neglected at the risk of having architects lose interest in ESD, (b) Environmentally sustainable buildings can as important resources for ESD design education, (c ) An ESD integrated design process (IDP) involving all stake holders and consultants needs to be implemented at the beginning of the project and maintained until the end of the construction process
